Our remixes, whether official (Erotic Market, Kylie Minogue, Grand Blanc) or bootleg (PJ Harvey, The Clash, Portishead), often were deliberate attempts at working with songs, as if we were singing by proxy. We just had to take the leap, to find a motivating factor, because the want was definitely there. The enthusiasm of our close friends for a first spontaneous song, Monkey (talkie), helped us take that leap, and singing turned out to be decisive.This intent became the outline we had been looking for our next album.

The pleasure we take in song writing was confirmed throughout the composition process. We started jotting down lyrics and crafting earworm tunes, drawing from our indie-rock and post-punk influences. The approach in this second album called Loose Cannons is more concise, sometimes head on. The singing builds onto deep and cyclical bass lines, the misty wash of atmospheric sound supporting synthetic leads in what could be seen as a Heavy Wave trip.
